Warming Socks Remedy
Such a simple, yet effective remedy!

The wet sock treatment (also called the warming socks remedy) is a natural hydrotherapy technique that stimulates the immune system, improves circulation, and helps the body fight off colds, fevers, flu, and congestion. It works by drawing blood to the feet, redirecting congestion away from the head, lungs, and sinuses, and supporting lymphatic drainage.

How to Do the Wet Sock Treatment

🌿 Supplies Needed:
✅ 1 pair of thin cotton socks
✅ 1 pair of thick wool socks
✅ Cold water (or ice water for stronger effect)
✅ Warm water or a warm foot soak

Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Warm Up First
  • Soak feet in warm water (or take a warm bath) for at least 5-10 minutes.
  • This increases circulation before applying the cold socks.
2️⃣ Prepare the Cold Socks
  • Soak the thin cotton socks in cold water (ice water for an extra boost).
  • Wring them out so they are damp but not dripping.
3️⃣ Put on the Socks
4️⃣ Let the Socks Work Overnight
  • The body will naturally warm up the socks as circulation increases.
  • By morning, the socks should be completely dry, and symptoms like fever, congestion, and sinus pressure should be improved.
